On November 8, 2017, CDC New England was awarded the #1 CDC in Western Massachusetts by dollars for SBA’s 2017 Fiscal Year. The organization provided $10,180,000 in SBA 504 loans to small businesses in the area during the fiscal year of 2017. “504 loans are SBA’s economic development and job creation program”, said Robert Nelson, District Director for SBA Massachusetts, “We applaud CDC New England for helping to get so many loan dollars into the hands of small businesses here in the western part of the state with the use of this program.
